Cutting and Reaming Machine:
This machine is used to speed production on a molded plastic part. The part is loaded into the machine by an operator and clamped into position. Once part presence is established, the part is shuttled through a saw blade which cuts a slot in the part. At the end of the shuttle stroke the part stops and waits while a bronze bushing in the part is reamed within final tolerance. The part is then discharged to the operator.
